Funeral Lead Form

Funeral FAQs

Can you explain the flowers for funerals?

Modern funerals can be whatever you decide nowadays.

Some religions and cultures have specific etiquette with flowers, that is best discussed with your Funeral Director & advised to us.

Here is a quick overview of the main flowers to choose from:

1. Casket flowers

These are an abundant design of flowers and foliage, in a low container that can be displayed at a funeral Ceremony on top of the casket. We offer a half size or full length size in a natural garden style.

2. Wreath or Bespoke Flower Design

These are a design that usually stand up on an easel near the casket (or at a memorial) that can be displayed at a Funeral Ceremony.

3. Natural burial flowers

A hand-tied abundant bouquet of flowers and foliage that does not use any artificial materials except jute string for binding. These will be lowered into the ground with a casket. We suggest Australian native flowers for outdoor all weather events.

4. Sympathy Bouquet

This is a flat-backed flower bouquet sent as condolences to the family if you cannot attend the funeral. They are designed to stand up and be displayed facing forwards with a card or personal note to the family displayed.

5. Vases and Urn designs

These arrangements are for additional decoration of a church, Ceremony venue or Wake/Celebration.

How do I order the Funeral flowers?

You can order directly with us online or your Funeral Director can be in touch to make arrangements.

After a phone call or by filling out our Contact form, we will:

1. Email : We will send a link for a suggested order based of the information we discuss.

2. Online shop: you can peruse the options and select all items online.

We aim to make this process as seamless as possible for you.

We are planning a non-waterproof casket such as cardboard or MDF product.

We need to know this information to adjust our casket flower designs.

Instead of a 100% sustainable base material, we have plastic bases that we recommend for use and we will pick these up after the Ceremony.

We are going to decorate the casket with artwork or personalised messages

What a lovely idea! We are happy to work around this by offering some solutions that will complement your design:

- A half-size casket arrangement

- A bespoke flower design to sit on display on an easel

- Abundant vases of flowers instead

What type of flowers do you use in the designs?

We source 100% locally grown flowers and focus on the overall colour palette.

You may select from these flowers:

1. Seasonal farm flowers

2. Australian natives

The colour palette is usually selected from:

Bright & Joyous

Soft & Pastel

Greens & Neutrals

Online orders allows a section on checkout to write us some notes, if you want to nominate a colour selection.

If you have any specific requests or want to check if a flower is in season, please call Suz directly on 0420 877 186.

What sort of budget should I allow for the flowers?

The flowers are often said to be a very important part of a farewell to a loved one.

We take care to select the best of seasonal flowers, with light fragrance to add to the memory of your Ceremony.

Casket flowers range from $350 upwards, averaging $600 - 750.

Vases of flowers start from $120.

Church decor averages around $500-1000.

We have made transparent pricing in our Flower products, so you can choose a size and design that suits your preferred budget.

What delivery options do you offer?

We offer Sydney metro delivery with the florist or with our trusted Courier.

We deliver to 1 x location, which is usually the mortuary or the funeral home where the Deceased will be.

The Funeral Director will advise you on the full address to supply to us.

Post Ceremony, we can arrange to deliver the flowers to your home address upon request and on checking our availability.

How can we get the flowers home after the Ceremony?

Many Funeral Directors will now organise after the Ceremony, to make some bouquets for the family.

Our casket flowers use 100% compostable materials in the base and construction.
